2006 Buff Betty Women's Adventure Races

All races are 6 hours long and end with a unique 'freestyle' finish that will enable nearly all competitors to finish the race. Team sizes are 2-5 women and solos are welcome.

The series opened on April 9 at Otter Creek Park near Louisville, KY on a beautiful warm spring day with paddling, mountain biking, orienteering and an exciting rappell on the high blufs overlooking the Ohio River.

The Buff Betty returns to Lake Hope for the Ohio stop on the tour. This race will include flatwater paddling on beautiful Lake Hope, excellent moderately easy single track mountain biking, trail running with navigation, and maybe even a few surprises.

Skills clinics on Saturday will include paddling, 'Adevnture Racing 101', and land navigation.
